Our services include:
- Music from a pool of songs. Each song is picked just before it is played.
- Music from a set playlist if the bride & groom / event manager desires.
- Master of Ceremonies with announcing throughout the event.
- Moving head perimeter up lighting.
- Moving head fixtures on T-bar stands raised ~10ft above the crowd.
- Projection Mapping.
- Real time control of all light fixtures.
- Custom elements using RGB pixel lighting or other equipment.
- Creation of a “light show” for individual songs. This approach uses additional software in tandem with our main lighting controls to create highly responsive and precisely timed light shows. We use Vixen Lights & xLights which are commonly used to create animated holiday displays seen all across the world.
Our lighting can be scaled down to simple solid colors for an elegant feeling for a low key reception or banquet and can scaled up to create a high energy dance party and anywhere in between.
Wedding Reception Layout
Each of the 2 light stand contains 4 moving head fixtures and a high brightness floodlight to illuminate the ceiling of the room. A maximum of 20 perimeter up lights are placed against the wall on the floor around the room to create a cozy elegant feeling. The perimeter lights are computer positioned and can do solid wall washes from the stationary up light, to simple motions and up to high energy motions.
The 8 moving head fixtures are positioned via computer to create a 2×4 grid pattern on the floor. This is depicted with the grid of yellow circles in the image below.

Indoor Dance Layout
The layout closely follows the wedding reception. The main differences are the addition of 2 more light stands on the far side of the room and an additional stand that contains an LED blacklight with 2 “derby” style light fixtures to mimic the look of a mirror ball.
Just like the wedding layout, the 16 moving head fixtures are positioned via computer to create a 4×4 grid pattern on the floor. This is depicted with the grid of yellow circles.
The DJ area will be on the stage if the venue has one.

Just as each event, wedding and dance is unique, our system can be changed, reconfigured and modified to suit the specific needs of each event & venue. Light stands can be moved, rearranged or removed. Likewise, perimeter lights can be rearranged or removed.
At this time we are also capable of doing projection mapping with up to 5 projectors. Projection mapping requires an increased amount of equipment and extended setup time. The projector layout & content is tailormade to fit each venue and may not be conducive in some environments. We can project still images or slideshows such as pictures of flowers or stars and we can do simple animations. We will soon be expanding into the realm of real time content and also music/video synchronization.
Pricing
For each event that we do, we require a consultation with the bride & groom or event manager in person at the venue. That way specific requirements such as layout, power, sound and numerous other items can be checked. Each venue is unique and comes with specific challenges to work with. This consultation is done approximately 1 month before the event in order to sufficiently prepare.
Typically we will set up the day before the event.
The consultation will include topics such as:
- Detailed schedule of events including a setup & takedown schedule.
- Specific music requests or considerations.
- Energy level of the event. Elegant, upbeat, high energy, etc.
- Anticipated demographic of attendees.
- Event theme colors. These will be loaded into the lighting software and be displayed throughout the event.
Wedding receptions will also include questions such as:
- Bride and groom music likes and dislikes including specific song requests.
- Inclusion of bouquet toss, send off, etc.
- Specific songs for the Mother/Son, Father/Daughter and first dance.
- Theme. Modern, country, whimsical, etc.
- Energy level of the reception. Elegant, upbeat, low energy, dance party, etc.
- Allowed music requests, where applicable.
- Wedding colors. These will be loaded into the lighting software and be displayed throughout the event.
$300 for music only.
$400 for lighting only.
$600 for the full DJ and lighting package. This is preferred as having music and lighting unified under one control system is more streamlined.
With additional service such as projection mapping and custom lighting elements, the cost varies and a price will be agreed upon after the consultation. Additional setup time is required for projection mapping and custom lighting elements.
We can MC or work with someone who has been chosen to be the MC.
If the lighting only package is selected, we will work closely with the DJ during the event to provide a seamless experience.
Please no events where excessive drinking or wild partying will occur.
